Ansaldo Signal UK - Video Survey for ERTMSIn 2007, Omnicom Engineering Limited had the pleasure of delivering a contract to support Ansaldo Signal UK in the design of the first stage of European Railway Traffic Management System (ERTMS) to be deployed on about 215km of track on the Cambrian line. Omnicom Engineering Limited supplied an OmniSurveyor3D® system for the Cambrian line to assist in the development of the ERTMS scheme design. Omnicom Engineering Limited have surveyed the line to allow Ansaldo Signal UK to identify the geospatial location of all assets. For this project, Omnicom Engineering Limited made use of Network Rail's Track Recording Unit vehicle for data and video capture. |
