Buckinghamshire County Council

Buckinghamshire County Council became a new client for Omnicom Engineering Limited in late 2006 and during the past year, we undertook two project commissions for the Buckinghamshire County Council Structural Maintenance and Systems Division.

The first commission, awarded in early 2007, involved a Highway multi-camera digital video survey of 592km of their classified road network. The second project in 2007 was for asset inventory collection from the first project video and involving the capture of 5 individual asset types and attribution across the 592km. The results were delivered in a format for integration with the Buckinghamshire County Council "Insight" Asset Management Application.

Omnicom Engineering Limited is very pleased to announce our latest highway contract award with a 3rd commission from Buckinghamshire County Council in February 2008 to undertake a Highway multi-camera digital video survey of a further 400km of classified road network in the county.

"Buckinghamshire County Council has been very pleased to commission highway digital video survey and asset inventory collection works from Omnicom Engineering Limited (OEL) since early 2007. We have every confidence in OEL's reliable, quality-led service, their people and their underlying ability to consistently deliver to our expectations and timescales.

We were happy to award OEL a second digital video survey in March this year, to add to the previous survey and asset collection contracts awarded last year. Once again the deliverables have been delivered within the specified timescales."
