Milton Keynes CouncilDuring the past 18 months, Omnicom Engineering Limited has undertaken two repeat business highway commissions for Milton Keynes Council. These followed an earlier 2003 contract awared to Omnicom Engineering Limited for a first ever multi-camera digital video survey of the Milton Keynes Council 422km classified road network. The first repeat business commission, awarded in late 2006, was a re-run video survey update of the same 422km with the primary objective of assessing changes over the interim three-year period. A second project commission was awarded in November 2007, requesting Omnicom Engineering Limited to undertake a comprehensive asset inventory collection of 27 individual highway asset types and their associated attribution. Using the previous 422km video survey imagery and the OmniSurveyor3D® software application the project is on schedule for final data delivery at the beginning of April 2008. "Omnicom Engineering have provided Milton Keynes Council with a complete service from Asset video through to asset collection. It has enabled Milton Keynes to complete a full asset inventory with 27 asset groups within 6 months. The professional service provided by Omnicom Engineering guided Milton Keynes Council through many decisions to a bespoke asset solution." Gary Morland, Milton Keynes Council |
