During autumn 2006, Omnicom Engineering Limited were pleased to begin a client relationship with Oldham Metropolitan Borough Council following the award of an initial commission to perform a Highway digital video survey of 172km of classified road network. In 2007, and heavily influenced by a parallel council-run Street Lighting Project, Omnicom Engineering Limited received a 2nd commission to undertake a Highway digital video survey of 590km of the authority's unclassified road network.
