Omnicom Engineering Limited ventures forth once more to Oldham.
Once again, key highway client in North West England, Oldham MBC, has commissioned Omnicom Engineering Limited to undertake a 3rd 500+ km video survey of the Borough's classified road network and in particular, the winter maintenance routes in this challenging high-elevation, Trans-Pennine district. The latest contract follows two earlier commissions for the Borough, undertaken by Omnicom Engineering Limited in 2006/07.
The winter gritting video coverage will be used both for risk assessment evaluation and driver route learning. The survey results are currently being assembled for June delivery to the client and will include other primary uses of the visual and geo-positional survey identified by the client to include cross-departmental access to undertake asset and infrastructure inventory collection and inspection.
