Omnicom Engineering Limited developed and implemented a Radio Frequency Identification System (RFID) for Valve Management for use in both offshore oil and gas industries. The innovative technology involved the application of intrinsically safe handhelds and RFID tags on the assets which allowed for accurate management, control and traceability of the valves in an offshore environment.

Omnicom Engineering Limited has developed and supplied to Unival an innovative asset management system using robust read/write storage devices (EEPROM) that can actually be embedded on the asset. This advanced technology has the advantage of being read/write, low cost, maintenance free and designed to survive in harsh environments.
